Charlie's Stable

This cosy cottage was previously a stable for a horse named Charlie. Charlie worked for the Burton family at the turn of the century, when the family produced electricity for Swaledale.

The history of this building has been kept very much alive, with original beams, a hay rack staircase bannister a large vaulted ceiling upstairs.
