Burton House
Burton House is a welcoming, character-rich cottage in the heart of Reeth, perfect for families, couples, or walkers exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Originally part of Askrigg House, the building was constructed in 1910 by my great-great-grandfather following his purchase of the village’s old corn mill. With solid stone walls, period features, and views across Fremington Edge, Burton House offers a relaxing base steeped in local history.
Whether you’re curling up by the open fire, stepping straight out onto a walking trail, or enjoying the enclosed garden with your dog, Burton House blends rural heritage with all the comfort you’d expect from a modern self-catering stay.
